By booking a repair, build, or development project with CHA Services ("we", "us"), based at 44 Barnes Close, Leicester, England, LE4 7WD, you agree to these terms.
Diagnostics are free. Once a fault is identified, we provide a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins. Work only proceeds once you've approved that quote. If, during the repair, we find additional faults not covered by the original quote, we'll contact you before doing any further work.
You're responsible for backing up any data on a device before it's brought in for repair. While we take reasonable care, data loss can be an inherent risk of hardware repair, and we can't guarantee the preservation of files, settings, or installed software during a repair.
Repairs carried out by CHA Services come with a 90-day warranty covering the specific parts and labour involved in that repair. This warranty doesn't cover unrelated faults, physical damage occurring after the repair, or issues caused by third-party work carried out after we've returned the device.
Estimated turnaround times (for example, 24–48 hours for most repairs) are given in good faith based on typical jobs and parts availability. They're estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by parts sourcing or the complexity of a fault.
We'll hold a repaired or diagnosed device for a reasonable period after contacting you. If a device remains uncollected for an extended time without contact from you, we reserve the right to charge storage fees or, as a last resort, treat the device as abandoned in line with UK consumer law.
For web, app, or automation projects, scope, pricing, and timelines are agreed in a separate written quote or contract for that project, which sits alongside these general terms.
We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, business, or profit, except where that liability can't be excluded under UK law (for example, in cases of negligence causing personal injury). Our liability for a given job is limited to the value of that job.
You can cancel before work begins at no charge. Once repair or development work has started, a reasonable charge may apply to cover work already completed and any parts already ordered on your behalf.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
